HAY’s Tamoto bed gets its name and inspiration from Japan. Inspired by the elegant, draping sleeves of kimonos, Shane Schneck designed a steel tube bed with a folding fabric upholstery over the frame. The draped, minimalist Japanese-style cushion together with the industrial feel of the steel frame gives the Tamoto bed an interesting, contemporary look.

Thanks to its soft but supportive headboard, the Tamoto bed is well suited not only for sleeping but also for daytime lounging, reading, watching TV or even working.
